The general topics of the project:
- network science: modeling the structure and the evolution of complex networks and systems including communication, information, and social networks, and their interactions.
Sample topics: sampling a large network, identifying structure and communities, predicting the evolution, decision making in a distributed env.
- Modeling trust and trust propagation in a networked environment including defining the meaning of trust and trustworthiness, theoretical and experimental analysis of trust establishment
Starting date: as soon as possible, definitely within the spring of 2010.
Salary: commensurate with experience and capabilities
