==============================================================

This symposium provides a forum for papers that address the use of modeling and simulation (M&S) in the area of information assurance or computer security as well as papers that address the means and methods needed to provide security features and assurance for simulation systems. Papers that involve improving security in simulation systems are encourage. Topics of interest include (but are not limited to) the following:

* Modeling or simulating vulnerabilities in systems
* Use of M&S in information security training
* Secure software development* Secure distributed systems and networks
* Protection in simulation codes and models
* Scientific Visualization techniques applied to computer security
* Use of M&S in security engineering
* Use of M&S in network and system security
* Intrusion detection and prevention
* Models of secure behavior (OS models, policy models, access control models, and authentication models)
* Sensor networks security
* Mesh networks security* Wireless networks security
* Network-centric warfare system security
