Dear IEEE ComSoc Member,

We are sending this email message on behalf of the IEEE Communications Society because you are a current Society Member eligible to vote in the upcoming election.

This serves to notify voting Members that this year you will receive your IEEE
Communications Society ballot material electronically for voting in the IEEE ComSoc Election. Intelliscan (IEEE's Election Services provider) is sending this email to test the accuracy of ComSoc Members' email addresses to ensure electronic ballot delivery on 30 May 2008.

If you receive this message and would like to vote electronically, you need do nothing. On 30 May 2008, you will receive another email (sent to this same email address) with election instructions--including your Member number and ballot control number. That message will include a link for voting online. The voting period is expected to be 30 May through 25 July 2008.

If you prefer to have the paper ballot material mailed to you, please e-mail your name, address and member number to Intelliscan (pnentwig@intelliscaninc.com) or call +1-610-935-6172. When the election ballots are sent out, your ballot will be physically mailed to you rather than sent electronically.

We hope this new process will be a more convenient way to choose ComSoc's future leaders.

Thank you.
