Scope:
IFIP/IEEE Wireless Days Conference is a major international conference
which aims to bring together researchers, technologists and visionaries
from Academia, research labs and industry, engineers and students
to exchange, discuss and share their experiences, ideas and research
about theoretical and practical aspects of wireless networking. The
conference will include presentations of theoretical and experimental
achievements, innovative wireless systems, prototyping efforts,
case studies and advances in technology related to wireless networking
and communications infrastructures.
IFIP/IEEE Wireless Days Conference program will include the following
five conference tracks:
Track 1: Second International Home Networking Conference
Track 2: Ad Hoc and Sensor Networks
Track 3: Broadband Wireless
Track 4: Signal Processing for Wireless Communications
Track 5: Sixth Network Control conference (NETCON 2008)
"Special focus on wireless and mobility"
Important Dates:
Extended submission deadline: July 13, 2008
Notification of acceptance: September 8, 2008
Camera-ready version: September 21, 2008
Paper Submission:
Papers are to be submitted electronically on the EDAS web site of
the conference (http://edas.info/newPaper.php?c=6465&) in PDF format.
Please submit to the General Topics track if you are unable to
choose any of the other tracks. The TPC chair and vice-chairs will
assign the paper to the appropriate track.
Submissions should be original and limited to 5 double-column pages,
and should follow IEEE paper templates. Paper with more pages can be
accepted however they need to be reduced to 5 pages for publication.
Conference proceedings will be published by the IEEE and will be
available through IEEExplore.
Best papers will be published in a special issue of Journals:.

- Telecommunication Systems Journal (Springer)
- Annals of Telecommunications (Springer)
- EURASIP Journal on Wireless Communications and Networking (Hindawi)
