CALL FOR PAPERS: Home Networking Track
-------------------------------------------------------------------

   IFIP/IEEE Wireless Days 2008
                   Dubai, United Arab Emirates
                      November 24-27, 2008

                    Track on Home Networking

Conference web site: http://www-phare.lip6.fr/Wireless_Days/
Track web site: http://www-phare.lip6.fr/Wireless_Days/tracks1.html

-------------------------------------------------------------------
SCOPE

The track is focused on architecture, protocols design and
application for the control of the future domestic networks. Indeed,
domestic networks are evolving very quickly to become complete
networks. Tens and even hundreds of flows are going through this
network. Moreover, the flows are coming from very different machines:
from the telecommunication world, the Consumer Electronic industry,
and the domestic manufacturers. Networks to carry the different flows
are also very different going from wireless networks (WiFi, UWB,
etc.) to CPL networks via more classical Ethernet solutions. Finally,
equipments are very heterogeneous: TV, laptop, PDA, refrigerator,
sensor, RFID, etc.

The aim of this track is to provide an international technical forum
for experts from industry and academia everywhere in the world to
exchange ideas and present results of ongoing researches in home
networking. Topics include, but are not limited to:

- Wireless networks (Wi-Fi, UWB, ZigBee, 6LowPAN)
- Home Networking Routing Protocols
- PLC (HomePlug, OPERA, UPA, CEPCA, IEEE)
- PLC QoS Management
- DLNA, UPnP, Rally, etc.
- Internet-Box, set-top-box, bridge, gateway, etc.
- Access Networks (ADSL, VDSL, optical, etc.)
- Home Gateway
- DSL Forum, HGI, Home DVB
- Vertical handover
- Wireless QoS Management
- Home Network Security
- Ambient intelligence
- Autonomic Home Networking
- New Home Applications
- Performance & Experiment
