[Mycolleagues] CFP - The 10th International Conference on Mobile Data Management (MDM'09) International Workshop on Data Management in Ad Hoc and Pervasive Computing

CALL FOR PAPERS

International Workshop on Data Management in Ad Hoc and Pervasive Computing

May 18-21 2009, Taipei, Taiwan

in conjunction with The 10th International Conference on Mobile Data Management (MDM'09)

 Submission Deadline Extended to Nov.30.2008

Rapid progress in wireless communication technologies makes ad hoc and pervasive computing to be reality. To provide pervasive computing services, i.e., anytime and anywhere for everyone, mobile devices must be capable of doing ad hoc computing. The emergence of such computing environment changes the way people live, work, and interact with each other, and has great impact on the way businesses, education, entertainment, and healthcare are operating. Despite substantial progress in ad hoc and pervasive computing technologies, many challenges regarding to data management need to be overcome: scalability, processing, power management, and networking infrastructure. This workshop invites quality papers articulating new perspectives related to the mentioned issues. Topics that are targeted in this workshop include, but not limited to:
