[Mycolleagues] CFP of Workshop for Future networks Architecture and Development Strategy (FADS)

Call for Papers of Workshop FADS

(Workshop ¡°Future Network Architecture and Development Strategies¡±)

BROADNETS 2009 is an international conference focusing on broadband communications, networks, and systems and covers the entire gamut of next generation networks, communications systems, applications and services. The Workshop FADS (Future Network Architecture and Development Strategies) provides a forum for researchers to exchange ideas on architecture issues for future networks based on experiences learnt from existing network architecture models and experiences in developing NGI architectures. FADS stresses on interactive discussion on common interests. Topics for FADS include (but not limited to)

n  Challenges and solutions to NGI

n  Re-examining OSI/RM and potential improvement

n  Layered or layerless architectures for NGI/NGN (Next Generation Internet/Network)

n  Development strategies: revolution or evolution

n  Framework and Experiences in development of NGI Architectures

n  New switching techniques in coping with high-data rates

n  QoS mechanisms in future networks

n  Security framework for future networks

Submitted papers will be reviewed through the same process as the conference papers and accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings and appear on IEEE XPlore.

Important Dates:

Workshop papers due:             May 15, 2009
