Call for Papers
The 2009 International Conference on Multimedia, Information Technology and its Applications
Osaka, Japan, August 19th-21th, 2009

MITA2009, the 5th International Conference on Multimedia, Information Technology and its Applications will be held on August 19th~21th, 2009, in Osaka, Japan. Osaka Prefecture University and Korea Multimedia Society (KMMS) are pleased to organize and be the hosts of the MITA2009. We cordially invite international academicians, professionals and practitioners from universities, research institutions, public and private organizations to exchange and share their experiences, new ideas, and research results about all aspects(theory, applications and tools) of Multimedia, Information Technology and its Applications.
* TOPICS :
The workshop solicits original technical papers that were not previously published and are not currently under review for publication elsewhere. Topics of interest include but are not limited to:

* SUBMISSION :
Papers must be written in English and the full paper should be electrically received as the MS-word file on MITA2009 website (http://www.mita2009.org) by Jun 26 (Friday), 2009. The manuscript of the papers to be limited to a maximum length of 2 pages(short paper) or 4 pages(regular paper) including figures, tables and references (Format: A4 size, single space, double column and Time Roman of font size 10).
All submitted papers will be reviewed by International experts in the Program Committee. The paper must have the names, affiliations, email addresses and full contact details of all authors. Accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings. All presented papers will be reviewed for the journal submission.
At the end of the conference, session chairs and program committee members will recommend some authors of well presented papers to be invited to submit extended versions of their presented papers for the publication in a special issue on the Journal of Korea Multimedia Society.

Acceptance Notification: July 10(Fri.), 2009
Full and Camera-Ready Paper: July 24(Fri.), 2009
Pre-Registration:July24(Fri.),2009
* AWARDS :
The International Program Committee will select the best research paper and the best young scientist (student) paper for awards.
