Internet Multimedia Systems Architecture and Application (IMSAA-09)
Bangalore, India
9 – 11 December 2009

IMSAA-09, sponsored by the IEEE COMSOC Society Bangalore, IEEE Bangalore
Section, IEEE Communications Society HQ (pending), supported and
attended by multi-national corporations and academic institutions, is an
annual international conference organized with the objective of bringing
together researchers, engineers and practitioners from academia and
industry working in Internet-based telecommunications services and
converged broadband networking. IMSAA-09 will present the latest
developments and technical solutions in the areas of next generation
communication system and multimedia services, and related deployment,
performance, security and mobility topics. The conference will include a
peer reviewed program of technical sessions, workshops, tutorials, and
demonstration sessions.

IMSAA 2009 invites proposals for workshops to be held during the main
technical program of IMSAA 2009 Conference (9 – 11 December 2009,
Bangalore, India, www.imsaa.org). IMSAA 2009 is sponsored by IEEE ComSoc
(pending), IEEE Bangalore section, IEEE ComSoc Bangalore Chaptrer, and
several corporate sponsors.

The purpose of the IMSAA Workshops 2009 is to provide participants with
an international forum and opportunity to discuss novel research ideas
and challenges in a wide range of networked consumer systems. The
workshop proceedings will be published with IMSAA proceeding at
IEEEXplore (and will be indexed accordingly).

Manuscripts should be written in English conforming to the IEEE standard
conference format (please see the call for papers page on
www.imsaa.org). Submission of paper should be regarded as a commitment
such that, if accepted after peer review, at least one author of the
paper will register and attend the workshop, failing to which the paper
may be removed from the IEEE Digital Library after the conference. We
expect the paper length not more than 6 pages.

Submission Guidelines

To propose a workshop in conjunction with IMSAA 2009, please submit a
workshop proposal including the following information:

* The title of the workshop;

* The workshop scope and the introduction of the technical issues that
the workshop will address;

* The important anticipated deadlines of the workshop;

* The detailed contact information of the workshop organizers, such as
names, titles, affiliations, postal
code & address, phone and fax numbers, and e-mail addresses;

* It is also required to write one paragraph about the organizers'
experience on conference/workshop organization,
and one paragraph describing on how you will advertise and distribute to
attract more papers for your workshop.

For better management, the IMSAA workshop organizers require use of EDAS
to manage their papers.

Workshop Proposals Deadline: June 30, 2009
Notification of Proposal Decision: July 06, 2009
Deadline Workshop Papers: September 10, 2009
Acceptance of Workshop Papers: October 05, 2009
Camera-Ready Version (hard): October 15, 2009
