Jointly sponsored by ACM SIGMOBILE and the USENIX Association, the Eight International Conference on Mobile Systems, Applications, and Services (MobiSys 2010) will be held on June 14-17, 2010, in San Francisco, USA.

This is a premier venue for researchers working in the area of mobile and wireless systems, middleware, services, and applications. The previous seven MobiSys conferences were quite successful, with strong refereed paper presentations, demonstrations, poster sessions, and workshops. We solicit workshop proposals on new and emerging topics in the general area of mobile and wireless systems, services, and applications.

Workshops will be a full day on the first day of the conference. The ideal workshop proposal should focus on a specific area, be of current interest, and be able to attract a number of high-quality submissions. The proposal should be no longer than three pages and should clearly identify the name of the workshop, the theme of the workshop, the topic areas of interest to define the scope, the names and affiliation of main organizers/program chairs and potential program committee members, a tentative call for papers with workshop deadlines and expected number of submissions and participants. If this workshop has been held before, also include its history (i.e., the number of submissions, the number of accepted papers, and the number of attendees).

Please send proposals in PDF format by November 20th, 2009, 12:00 midnight PDT, to the workshop co-chairs, Prof. Sunghyun Choi at schoi AT snu DOT ac DOT kr, and Dr. Sung-Ju Lee at sjlee AT hp DOT com.
