proliferating to the point where it has become comical. The duplixation ,
overlap, and dubious quality of most of these, coupled with the underlying
"business" aspect of the organization and the "for profit" operation makes
these announcements unacceptable for distribution over the tccc list.
Corrective measures are needed. In addition to the mockery that these
constitute of the scientific meeting process they are disorienting and offer
a disservice to the confused younger scientists about what is going on.
