Hi, all,
I've received posts asking for ways to avoid flooding people's mailboxes
and to make the emails either periodic mails or just on-demand at a website.
These are all already supported:
- if you would like periodic mails, configure your subscription
to provide "digests"
- if you would like just on-demand but may want to post as well,
subscribe and configure your subscription to "nomail"
The list config page is:
https://lists.cs.columbia.edu/cucslists/listinfo/tccc
That page includes a link to the archive which is available via the web:
https://lists.cs.columbia.edu/pipermail/tccc/
Finally, many mail readers can be configured to put incoming mail into
different folders based on source, header, etc. I would be glad to
provide more specific assistance to anyone who wants to explore this
option - send me a private off-list mail and include your OS and what
mail program you use to read your mail.
Joe
