[Tccc] CFP EUMOBILE 2010

(Apologies if you have received this more than once)

**************************************************************************

1st International Workshop on

Mobility Management Systems (E U M O B I L E 2 0 1 0 )

to take place during

2nd ICST International Conference on

Mobile Lightweight Wireless Systems

10-12 May 2010, Barcelona, Spain

URL: http://www.mobilight.org

***************************************************************************

Scope:

One of the key characteristics of the Future Internet is the synergy and
interworking of existing and new wireless communication environments

that will exhibit ubiquity and multi-access capabilities. The integration of
heterogeneous networks is revolutionizing the ICT area, introducing new

opportunities, better communication channels and an enhanced quality of
provided applications and services. In this environment, a user is able

to connect to a number of heterogeneous RATs (Radio Access Technologies),
either covering the same, or complementing geographical areas.

These networks can be macro-cellular, WLANs, femto-cellular or even ad-hoc.
In this environment, seamless mobility is coupled according to

user preferences, enabling mobile users to be "Always Best Connected" (ABC)
so that Quality of Experience is optimised and maintained.

Furthermore, communication security is required at both communication and
service layer. One of the goals of the workshop is to exchange of

ideas and interaction among the different European Projects on the topic in
question, with a special focus on FP7 projects related to mobility

management systems. European technology platforms are also invited to
present their views in the area. EUMOBILE 2010 will give

researchers the opportunity to present their latest results on this topic.
Researchers active in FP7 research projects as well as other leading

international researchers are invited to participate and share their latest
findings. The workshop intends to collect results from that work in this

area as well.

Authors are invited to submit original, unpublished contributions dealing
with topics on mobility management systems, including, but not limited to:

. Network Architectures and Mobility

. Mobility in Future Internet Initiatives (e.g. FIRE, GENI etc)

. Mobility Standardisation fora evolution (IETF:
HOKEY/SEAMOBY/PANA, IEEE: 802.21)

. IP-based Mobility Management Solutions in Heterogeneous Wireless
Networks

. Efficient Handover Algorithms

. Radio Resource Management in heterogeneous wireless networks

. Privacy and Trust and AAA Management in Heterogeneous Wireless
Networks

. Roaming in Multi-access environment

. Modeling, performance evaluation, simulation, and optimization
techniques

. Wireless network testbeds and applications

. Interactive media in ubiquitous environments

Paper submission and publication:

All submissions should be written in English with a maximum paper length of
12 single-column pages including figures according to the guidelines-

http://www.mobilight.org/submission.shtml. Accepted papers will be published
in Springer LNICST (Lecture Notes of ICST) and will be made available

in ACM Digital Library.

Selected papers will be invited to submit an extended version to the Special
Issue on ACM Springer Mobile Networks and Applications (MONET) Journal
(Pending)

Important Dates:

. Paper Submission: January 30, 2010

. Review Results: February 25, 2010
