[Tccc] Expert Researcher Position (Post Doctoral Research Fellow)

NICT (National Institute of Information and Communications Technology,
Tokyo, Japan) is announcing open Researcher positions in the area of
network of future entitled "Research on Designing a New Generation
Network Architecture under Wired/Wireless Combined Substrate."

Research on Designing a New Generation Network Architecture under
Wired/Wireless Combined Substrate

o Qualification Requirements (Recommended Research theme overview):

The resercher will build a new generation network that is
stress-free for users by allocating optical/mobile/wireless
communication system and managing bandwidth and failures
appropriately. He or she will tackle on network routing, congestion
control, and failure recovery and so on for designing a sustainable
new generation network. The approach such as rebuilding layered
structures, self-organizing control and in-network management is
expected. The validity will be confirmed by using network testbed
facilities.

o Application requirement

Ph.D or equivalent career is required. Applicants are required to
demonstrate enough research experiences to conduct the research with
a broad knowledge and interests not only in own particular field but
the entire network area. A way of thinking based on design
principles but free from the existing technologies is needed. The
applicant has ability for international research collaborations.
