First International Workshop on Mobile Cloud Computing
in conjunction with the 11th International Conference on Mobile Data Management (2010), Kansas City, Missouri, May 2010

Scope of the Workshop

The goal of this workshop is to bring together researchers and practitioners in all aspects of mobile cloud computing, including but not limited to:
• Architecture of mobile applications in cloud environments
• Thin client layer on mobile devices
• Delay tolerance applications
• Software structure for mobile cloud application
• Collaborative operations in mobile cloud computing
• Mobile social network
• Security in mobile cloud computing
• Business model for mobile cloud
• Design tool
• Data sharing and collaboration
• New applications
We would like to encourage novel ideas and creative applications that are not on the above list. The workshop is to act as an environment to promote the development of mobile cloud computing.

Important Dates
Submissions due: February 15, 2010, 11:59pm PDT
Author notification: March 5th, 2010
Camera-ready: March 17, 2010
Panel submissions: February 15, 2010
Workshop: May 23, 2010 (temporary date)

Submissions
MCC is soliciting full papers of up to 6 pages and short papers of up to 3 pages. All submissions should be formatted in the IEEE Two-Column Format. Formatting instructions can be found at the IEEE Conference Publishing Services. All the papers should be submitted in electronic format (pdf version) through the Easychair system. All accepted full papers as well as all short/position papers of attendees will be archived in IEEE Xplore and IEEE Computer Society (CSDL) digital libraries.
Both research and position/vision/white papers are invited. Submissions must not substantially overlap with papers that have been published or that are simultaneously submitted to a journal or a conference with proceedings. All authors and their affiliations must be listed. Each accepted paper must be presented by one registered author. Please submit your paper through the EasyChair system.
