SAR-SSI'2010 is the next edition of the SAR-SSI series, a continuation of the
SAR and SSI conferences which merged in 2006. It aims at fostering the
presentation of high quality research work in network and system security. The
goal of this event is to provide a framework for exchanges among academic
researchers, industry, graduate students and a broader audience interested in
network and system security. The conference will offer a broad area of events,
ranging from panels, tutorials, technical presentations and informal meetings.
SAR-SSI will take place in the very nice area of Cap Martin, located between
Menton and Nice, in Southern France.

Authors are invited to submit research papers, papers presenting an experiment
or industrial applications, or a tutorial. Topics of interest include, but are
not limited to the following:

* Security of new network architectures (e.g. VoIP, MAN/WAN, Gigaethernet),
* Security in wireless networks,
* Security in adhoc networks,
* Security of communications (IPsec, SSL, MPLS, etc. VPN),
* Security in backbone networks,
* Security of GIS (Geographic Information Systems),
* IPv6 security,
* Intrusion detection, honeypots,

Prospective authors are encouraged to submit papers offering novel research
contributions in network and system security as well as proposals for tutorials
and panels. Submissions can address both theoretical issues in network and
system security or provide practical and operational experiences in security
management. Languages for papers and presentations can be French or
English, both languages being used in SAR-SSI.


Panel proposals

The conference may include panel sessions addressing topics of interest to the
computer security community. Proposals for panels should include possible
panelists and an indication of which of those panelists have confirmed
participation. Please submit panel proposals by email to the TPC chairs.

Paper submissions

Submissions should not exceed 15 pages and must include a cover page with
the paper title, author(s) name(s) and affiliation, a full address (Phone,
fax, e-mail), an abstract of the paper (150 words max), and at most
5 keywords. Authors must submit an electronic version of their
paper (PDF / A4 format).

For the final version, a LaTeX source file for the paper will also be required.

SAR-SSI 2010 s'inscrit dans la continuite des precedentes conferences SAR et
SSI qui ont fusionne depuis 2006. SAR-SSI 2010 vise a susciter la presentation
de travaux de recherche dans les domaines de la securite des reseaux et des
systemes d'information. L'objectif de cette manifestation est de fournir un
cadre de travail pour des echanges entre les chercheurs academiques,
industriels, etudiants et toutes autres personnes interessees par ce
domaine. La conference proposera differents types de communications
des tables rondes et tutoriaux a des presentations techniques. En outre,
une soiree speciale doctorants sera egalement organisee. SAR/SSI se
tiendra dans un cadre agreable entre Menton et Nice.

Les auteurs sont encourages a soumettre des articles pour SAR/SSI decrivant
des travaux originaux, proposer des themes de tables rondes ou des tutoriaux
d'actualite dans les domaines de la securite des reseaux et des systemes
d'information. Les contributions peuvent concerner des resultats theoriques ou
faire etat d'experiences pratiques et operationnelles. La langue pour les
soumissions et presentations peut etre soit le Francais, soit l'Anglais.

La conference integrera egalement des tables rondes sur des themes d'actualite
pour la communaute des chercheurs en securite informatique. Les propositions
de tables rondes devront inclure une liste d'intervenants possibles et indiquer
lesquels de ces intervenants ont confirme leur participation. Les soumissions
de propositions de tables rondes se feront par courrier electronique aupres des
presidents du comite de programme.

Les articles soumis ne doivent pas depasser 15 pages et doivent contenir
une premiere page avec le titre, le nom du (des) auteur(s) et leur
affiliation, une adresse complete (telephone, fax, email), un resume de
l'article (150 mots max) suivi d'un maximum de 5 mots clefs. Les auteurs
doivent soumettre leur papier en version electronique (Format PDF / Forme A4).

Une version LATEX sera demandee pour la version finale.
