Science at Howard University (Washington, DC, USA) seeks applications
for a full-time postdoctoral researcher position starting immediately.
The term is one year, extensible pending funding and performance.
Candidates are expected to conduct research on overlay networks and
delay/disruption tolerant networks. In particular, candidates will
develop/deploy/conduct experiment programs on PlanetLab and some
wireless network test beds.
Telecommute can be considered.
Requirements for candidates:
1. A Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or
Electrical Engineering.
2. Strong computer networking research experience, proved by heavy
publications in international conferences and journals.
3. Strong programming experience in C/C++ and Java.
4. Familiarity with Linux/Unix and shell scripting. Experience on
PlanetLab/Emulab or similar testbeds is a plus.
5. Strong mathematical analysis capability.
6. Good verbal and written skills in English.
