[Tccc] R&D Engineer position at CNRS LaBRI lab, University of Bordeaux

The Networking team of the CNRS LaBRI laboratory located inside the
University of Bordeaux, France, is recruiting an R&D engineer in the
field of computer science, specialized in networking and/or multimedia,
software engineering.

The recruited engineer will work within the framework of a large
European R&D project, coordinated by LaBRI, based on networked media and
Future Internet. A large spectrum of domains is targeted by the project,
ranging from low-level networking to multimedia-based applications,
including security, mobility, service composition, adaptation and
interoperability. The objective is to deploy a new type of Networked
Media ecosystem, based on content-aware networking, service ubiquity and
adaptation toward the Future Internet. A new architecture based on two
novel virtual layers is aimed to be realised to this end.

The work will consist in:

* Conception and specifications of technical solutions;
* Software design and development;
* Tests and validation;
* Technical documentation and deliverables writing;
* Participation to technical discussions and meetings;

The applicant should hold a MSc degree (and preferably a PhD) in the
respective areas of the project. Good skills and experience in software
specification and development are required (UML, C/C++, python, Linux).
Team spirit is mandatory. Experience in participation to collaborative
research projects would definitely be an advantage.
