CAMAD 2010 - Call for Special Sessions

CAMAD 2010 technical program will include special sessions. Their objective
is to complement the regular program with new or emerging topics of
particular interest gravitating around interdisciplinary research, including
but not limited to, the following:

. Modeling and Simulation techniques for Integrated Communication Systems
. Traffic Engineering and Analysis
. Traffic Modeling
. Network Measurements
. Simulation techniques for large-scale Networks
. Simulation and Fast Simulation Techniques for Communication Networks
. Validation of Simulation Models with Measurements
. Network Optimization and Resource Provisioning
. Next Generation Internet
. Overlay and Virtual Networks
. Autonomic Communication Systems
. Cross-Layer & Cross-System Protocol Design
. Network Monitoring
. Modeling and Design of Network Services and Systems
. Wireless, Mobile, Ad hoc and Sensor Networks
. Modeling and Design of Wireless Ad Hoc Networks
. Seamless Integration of Wireless, Cellular and Broadcasting Networks with
Internet
. Design of Satellite Networks
. Integration of Terrestrial and Satellite Networks

Prospective organizers of special sessions should submit proposals
indicating:
. Title of the session
. Description of the event and relevance to the CAMAD 2010 workshop scope;
motivation and rationale; scope and main topics to be covered; intended
schedule, and; prior history of the proposed session (if applicable).
. Short biography of the organizers
. Indented audience
Each special session will consist of 5 papers. The organizers' role is to
attract the speakers and chair the session itself.

Authors of papers included in successful proposals should submit a
manuscript on or before May 31st, 2010. Manuscripts should conform to the
formatting and electronic submission guidelines of regular CAMAD 2010
papers. They will undergo the same review process as regular papers by at
least 3 independent reviewers.

Interested contributors should forward the proposal form to the Special
Sessions Chair of CAMAD 2010 Dr. Christos Verikoukis (cveri@cttc.es).

Proposals should be sent with the following subject line: "[CAMAD 2010]
Special session (name of proposal)" and received by April 15th, 2010.
Acceptance of the received proposals will be decided and notified by May
3rd, 2010.
