We are calling for nominations for the INFOCOM Achievement Award.
Description of the Award:
The recipient should have a body of work (or a single paper) that
has had a significant impact on the networking community, in general,
and INFOCOM, in particular.
All papers in the body of work need not have appeared in INFOCOM but
it would be desirable if at least some of the papers appeared in INFOCOM.
It would also be desirable if the recipient has had some reasonable
association with INFOCOM (such as publishing papers in INFOCOM somewhat
regularly over a period of time).
Nominations should be sent to <info10.chairs@gmail.com> by February 15, 2010.
Each nomination should contain
(A) A nomination letter, citing the contribution of the nominee
that has had a significant impact on the networking community
in general, and INFOCOM in particular. List the paper(s) in
reference.
* Self-nomination is acceptable.
* An email to <info10.chairs@gmail.com> is fine.
(B) A brief citation for the award, e.g.
* INFOCOM Achievement Award, for contributions to resource
allocation in wireless networks.
* INFOCOM Achievement Award, for contributions to modeling
and performance analysis of communication networks.
(C) Up to three letters of reference supporting the nomination.
The letters need to be sent to <info10.chairs@gmail.com>.
The winner will be announced at INFOCOM'2010 in San Diego, March 15-19, 2010.
