The Second International Conference on Information Privacy, Security,
Risk, and Trust (PASSAT2010) August 20-22, 2010, Minneapolis, Minnesota,
USA http://www.iisocialcom.org/conference/passat2010/

We are interested in papers that address the overlaps and differences
between security and privacy, as indicated by the following areas:
• organizational models for security and privacy practice
• conflicts between security and privacy goals
• risk assessment for security versus privacy
• security techniques that are successful for privacy or vice versa
• security techniques that are unsuccessful for privacy or vice versa
• reports on and lessons learned about project successes and failures in
security and privacy
• reports on and lessons learned about research successes and failures
in security and privacy
• the real overlaps and the real differences between these two fields
• promising areas for future joint research and practice in security and
privacy
