The Institute of Communications Technology, Communication Networks Lab
seeks applications for

Junior Professorship (BesGr. W 1 BBesO)
"Future Internet Communication Technologies"

to be filled October 01, 2010. The appointment is temporary for 3 year
(with an optional extension of 3 years after evaluation). Applicants
should have an academic background in Information Technology, Electrical
Engineering, or Computer Science and should possess relevant experience
in one or more of the following areas:
- - Future Internet
- - Virtual Networks
- - Routing and Switching
- - Network Management
- - FPGA Programming
Candidates are expected to hold a Ph.D. degree in a related field, to
have an excellent academic record, to contribute to undergraduate and
graduate teaching in Information Technology, and to actively acquire 3rd
party funded projects.

The duties and responsibilities and the required qualification for
employment are specified in the Higher Education Act of Lower Saxony (§
25 NHG). Information on specific aspects will be provided on request.
Part-time employment is possible.
