[Tccc] PhD Positions in Networking.

PhD applications are open for those interested in pursuing a PhD in Networking
at the University of Trento, Italy, in the Networking group.

The Networking group at DISI covers research areas ranging from wireless
networks to P2P systems, from stochastic modeling to protocol design. Teh group
is extremely active in both theoretical and applied research, publishing tens
of papers per year in leading conferences and journals like Infocom,
Transactions on Parallel and Distributed Systems, Computer Networks, etc.

New PhD students are integrated in research projects and are asked to work both
in autonomy and in group. Problem solving and most of all identification of new
challenging, gound breaking research areas are prized qualities.

The Department of Information Engineering and Computer Science is a leading and
fast-growing research institution, characterized by a young and international
faculty and by a large, international student population. Indicators for
scientific production place the department among the very top in Europe. The
successful candidate will therefore have the opportunity to work in a dynamic
