I'm confused why the path is closed so firmly. You previously highlighted an exception
clause, gated by a posting being "for the greater good", that allows advertising of
"faculty openings, fellowships [..], etc". Which seems to allow pretty significant
grass-roots flexibility regarding the definition of "general good" without needing
to be "raising our concerns to the ComSoc". (But then again, I don't agree that this
should be interpreted as meaning "for the greater good of non-profit organisations",
because that's not what was written.)
