IEEE Vehicular Networking Conference 2010 (IEEE VNC 2010) seeks to bring
together researchers, professionals, and practitioners to present and
discuss recent developments and challenges in vehicular networking
technologies, and their applications. Topics of interest are:
* Vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) communications
* Vehicle-to-infrastructure (V2I) communications
* Vehicle-to-X communications including Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) communications
* Vehicular ad hoc networks (VANET)
* In-vehicle communications
* Potential applications of vehicular networks including ITS
* Protocols for vehicular networks (MAC, routing, mobility management, etc.)
* Information networking over vehicular networks
* Architecture, algorithms and protocols for data dissemination in
vehicular networks
* Network and QoS management for vehicular networks
* Security and privacy in vehicular networks
* Physical layer and antenna technologies for vehicular networks
* RF propagation models for vehicular networks
* Radio resource management for vehicular networks
* Simulation / performance evaluation techniques for vehicular networks
* Experimental systems and testbeds for vehicular networks
* Assessment of impact of vehicular networks on transportation
efficiency and safety
* Standardization and economical model updates for vehicular networks
All submitted papers will be peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will appear
in the conference CD proceedings as well as on the IEEE Xplore.
