[Tccc] IEEE ComSoc Distinguished Lecturers - Call for Nominations

Please see below. Note that:

Nominations can be made in two ways:

* An individual may nominate another person. The nominator must be
a member of ComSoc and a Senior Member of IEEE.
* A person can receive the nomination of a ComSoc Technical Committee

CALL FOR NOMINATIONS

DISTINGUISHED LECTURERS PROGRAM

The IEEE Communications Society (ComSoc) welcomes you to nominate
candidates for ComSoc's Distinguished Lecturers Program. Your action
will give a deserving colleague the opportunity to be a distinguished
lecturer in what has become a very popular and valuable program for our
members.

You can see our list of current lecturers and information about the
program by going to
http://www.comsoc.org/about/memberprograms/distinguished-lecturers. For
years, this DL program has provided a means for ComSoc chapters and
other organizations to identify and arrange lectures by renowned
authorities on communications-related topics.

To nominate a candidate to participate in this program, please go to the
Distinguished Lecturers site (above) and click on "DL Selection Policies."

· Complete the Nomination Form located at the bottom of that page

· Send the completed form and a short bio of the candidate to the
Chair of the DL Selection Committee (email below) by 31 August 2010.

· Subject of the email should be "Distinguished Lecturer Nomination"
