[Tccc] Call For Papers for an AINA Workshop

Call for Papers for the First Workshop on
Interworking and Interoperable Networks and Services

in conjunction with
ACM/IEEE 25th International Conference on
Advanced Information Networking and Applications (AINA)
Biopolis, Singapore, March 22 - 25, 2011
Website of I2NS 2011: http://sites.google.com/site/i2ns2011/

In the very close "Future of the Internet", communicating NGN may integrate new types of applications with different kinds of underlying technologies that are currently becoming numerous. Many efforts are provided in order to make them interwork through the standards, working groups and research projects. Moreover, these communicating networks must be accessible, secure and scalable to meet the increasing self-reliance aspects, taking into account the importance of standards and interoperability. Nevertheless, due to several constraints (technological, industrial, economical ...), interoperability issues still remain that prevent some services or networks from collaborating with one another.

The International Workshop on Interworking and Interoperable Networks and Services (I2NS) provides a platform to bring researchers, industrials, academics and students altogether to share the recent development of technologies, methodologies, techniques and applications dedicated to the interworking and interoperable next generation networks and services.

The objectives of this workshop are thus to present and discuss novel paradigms, methodologies and real experiments focusing on interworking and interoperability of networks of all-scale as well next generation communication services.

The topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

* IPv4/IPv6 interworking
* 3/4/5G architectures
* Interworking of NGN/IMS architectures
* Wimax/Wifi networks
* Interworking in P2PSIP architectures
* Heterogeneous and Pervasive architectures
* Post-IP protocol
* End-to-end QoS
* Security, reliability, trusted systems
* Feature interactions, mashups
* Modelling, design, verification and interoperability testing
* Standards
* Experiences from interworking systems
