[Mycolleagues] CAMAD 2008 Call for Participation

CALL FOR PARTICIPATION

----------------------

13th IEEE International Workshop on Computer Aided Modeling and Design of Communication Links and Networks (CAMAD'08)

The International Workshop on Computer-Aided Modeling and Design of Communication Links and Networks (CAMAD) provides a forum for discussion of recent developments on analytical and simulation tools and techniques for the performance evaluation of communications systems. It was launched in 1986, being held every 2 years until 2006, often in cooperation with flagship IEEE Communication Society conferences (Int. Conference on Communications - ICC, Global Telecommunication Conference - GLOBECOM). Since 2006, the workshop has been held once every year motivated by the ever increasing interest in this hot research and development field with last venues organized in Trento (CAMAD'06) as a stand-alone event, and in conjunction with IEEE PIMRC 2007 in Athens, Greece (CAMAD'07).

CAMAD 2008 will be held on May 23, 2008 in conjunction with ICC 2008 in Beijing, China, right before the 2008 Summer Olympic Game. This is also the first time that CAMAD is held in Asia. 37 high-quality papers have been submitted to CAMAD 2008. 17 out of the 37 submitted papers have been accepted after rigorous review by at least three reviewers for each paper. They come from all continents around the world and represent the latest research results in the subject areas. All interested researchers are welcome to participate in CAMAD 2008. It will be an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas, share research results, and make friends. It will also be an excellent opportunity to visit Beijing in its best-ever shape right before the 2008 Summer Olympic Game.
