THEME:

The interdisciplinary studies on complex systems have gained extensive research interests. Significant impacts have been made by such studies on a wide range of different areas including physics, biology, economics, social sciences, etc., and penetrating into various engineering applications. In the long-term future, the way we understand and cope with the world may all be revolutionized by such studies. This conference aims to provide a unique and convenient platform for people working on theory and applications of complex systems to exchange their ideas and their latest research results. We look forward to your participation in COMPLEX'2009 to make this conference a success.

TOPICS OF INTERESTS

Papers presenting original work in, but not limited to, the following areas are invited:

- Structure and Dynamics of Complex Networks

- Complex Biological Systems

- Econophysics

- Sociophysics

- Complex Systems Methods

- Complex Systems in Engineering

For more details of conference scope, please refer to CALL FOR
PAPERS page at conference website.

SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS

Paper submission will be handled electronically. Authors should prepare an Adobe Acrobat PDF version of their full paper. Papers should not exceed 12 pages (full paper) or 6 pages (work-in-progress paper) in the requested LNICST format. Note that for the full paper category, we do not further differentiate full-length papers and short papers. That does NOT mean that the submitted papers have to be long enough to have close to 12 pages. Please visit the PAPER SUBMISSION page for detailed submission requirements and procedures.
