IEEE International Conference on Emerging Technologies 2010 (ICET
2010) will be held in Islamabad, Pakistan, on October 18-19, 2010.
The conference is being organized by FAST National University of
Computer and Emerging Sciences (FAST-NUCES) under the umbrella of IEEE
Islamabad Section.
IEEE ICET 2010 conference is the 6th of its series, being held every
year. ICET is an advanced technical conference, covering various
disciplines under
IEEE's domain. The conference aims to have research presentations by
researchers from a wide range of academic and professional
backgrounds.
It also includes a series of tutorials by domain experts enabling
participants to learn about the latest trends in various emerging
technologies.
Contributions are expected from the participants, covering different
interests, including technical papers, keynote speeches and tutorials.

Technical papers are invited that describe original and unpublished
work. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, the
following:

Submission Guidelines:
Prospective authors are requested to submit their manuscripts
electronically through the paper submission system on the conference
web site.
The paper must be submitted in PDF format complying with the IEEE
guidelines. Papers' length should not exceed 6 pages, including
figures and references.
The minimum length of the paper is 4 pages in the specified format.
All submissions should include the affiliation, address, telephone
number, fax number
and email address of the corresponding author and affiliations and
e-mail addresses of all co-authors. Addition/deletion of author(s)
after acceptance
notification will not be allowed.

Note: Papers not complying with the recommended format will not be
considered for review.


Acceptance and Publication:
All submitted papers will be peer-reviewed by the technical committee.
All papers presented in the conference will be published in the
conference
proceedings and will be searchable through IEEE Xplore ®. Extended
versions of the selected papers presented in ICET 2010, after a
rigorous peer-review
by a board of well-known international reviewers, will be recommended
for publication in a special book series by Springer-Verlag (approval
pending).

Note: Please note the following IEEE no show policy:
"IEEE reserves the right to exclude a paper from distribution after
the conference (e.g., removal from IEEE Xplore) if the paper is not
presented at
the conference."


Tutorials:
A series of tutorials will be organized covering major areas of the
conference. Tutorials will be given by renowned domain experts and
will be designed
to cover maximum background knowledge of the respective area for the audience.

Deadline for Submission of Full Papers: June 10, 2010
Acceptance Notification: July 22, 2010
Camera-Ready Paper Due: July 31, 2010
Author/Early registration Deadline: August 10, 2010
